Lisa's Sausage & Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 t parsley flakes
  • 1 1/2 lbs sausage
  • 8 oz. Velveeta
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup onions chopped
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-Heat Oven to 300 degrees
Cook rice, brown cook sausage and drain.
Using same skillet, saute onions and peppers in oil.

Put sausage back in skillet with milk, cheese and seasonings. When cheese melts, add to rice in a 2 qt. casserole.

Bake (covered) at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
