Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow mustard
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon white pepper OR you can substitute Spicy Montreal Steak Seasoning for the black and white pepper.
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke ( I don't use this cause Jim usually adds smoke to the meat )
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together ingredients except for the soy sauce, liquid smoke, butter. Simmer for 30 minutes at a low heat. Add soy, smoke, butter and simmer 10 more minutes.
