Cranberry Pie

This originated in a Bon Appetite magazine, but have changed it to my family's likings! It has a loyal following at Thansgiving and Christmas time. I combine the filling in a food processor with a metal cutting blade.

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons minute tapioca
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup peeled chopped oranges or clementines
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries (craisins)
- 2 Tablespoons marg.
- 2 pie crusts
Preparation
Step 1
Combine cranberries, sugar, tapioca, cinnamon, pecans , orange and craisins in a food processor with a metal cutting blade. Chop until coarse. Make pie crust. Fill unbaked pastry shell with cranberry mixture. dot with butte. Cover with top crust. Bake in 375 degree oven 1 hour or until done
