Preparation

Step 1

1. In large microwavable bowl, measure cereal; set aside. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper or parchment paper.
2. In a 2-Cup microwavable measuringcup, microwave the brown sugar, butter and corn syrup uncovered on high one to two minutes - stirring after one minute, until melted and smooth. Stir in baking soda until dissolved. Pour over cereal - stirring until evenly coated. Microwave on high for three minutes - stirring every minute. Spread on the oookie sheet. Cool ten minutes and break into bite size pieces.
3. In small microwavable bowl, microwave the baking chips uncovered on high about 1 minute 30 seconds or until chips can be stirred smooth (bowl will be hot). Drizzle over snack and refrigerate until set. (I let mine cool on the cookie sheet on the table for about an hour or more - and this will work fine if you don't have room in the refrigerator for a large cookie sheet pan). These should be stored in a tightly covered container or a zip look bag).
