Ingredients

  • 5

    green chile peppers

  • 1

    onion, chopped

  • 2

    garlic cloves, chopped

  • 2

    Tbsp oil

  • 5

    tsp. flour

  • 1/2

    tsp. coriander

  • 2

    cups chicken broth

  • 12

    tsp. salt

  • 1

    tsp. lime juice

Directions

1. Roast 5 green chile peppers at 400 degrees F. for 10-20 minutes, until skins blacken and blister. 2. Steam peppers in a sealed bag 10 minutes, peel and chop. 3. Saute 1 chopped onion and 2 chopped garlic cloves in oil in a skillet. Add flour and coriander; cook 4 minutes. Add peppers, chicken broth, salt and lime juice. Puree in blender or food processor.
