Fajita Marinade

Marinade for Chicken, Meat, or Shrimp fajitas.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp of dry Cilantro or 1 Tbl of fresh Cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp Coarse Black Pepper
  • 3/4 tsp Oregano
  • 3/4 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Lime Juice
  • 2 Tbl Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs of Steak, Shrimp, or Chicken, cut into bite size pieces or strips.

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix all marinade ingredients together in a large bowl.

2. Add the meat to the marinade,cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Cook the marinated meat in a skillet over med-high heat until tender.

4. Serve on a tortilla with cooked peppers and onions. Add sour cream, hot sause, cheese as desired.

Yields enough for 12 tortilas
