Ingredients
- 2 cups split green peas
- 8 cups water
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 6-1/2 oz. canned ham flakes, with liquid
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Measure all 7 ingredients into large pot. Heat, stirring often, until boiling. Cover. Boil slowly for about 45 minutes until vegetables are tender.
