Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa powder
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. icing sugar
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp. boiling water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour two 8 x 8 pans.
Cream together butter, sugar,and cocoa powder. Mix in beaten eggs and vanilla. Add flour and stir. Fold in nuts.
Bake for 30 - 35 minutes. Top will appear to be underdone but don't overcook. Should be moist and chewy.
Make glaze and spread on as soon as they come out of the oven.
