Indian Pudding

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp ginger and cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

In sauce pan mix milk and molasses, stir in cornmeal, spices and salt.
cook and sitr about 10 minutes or until thick
Stir in butter.
Turn inot an un-greased 1 quart casserole. bake uncovered on 300 degrees about 1 hour
