Ingredients
- 4 T veg oil
- 2.5 lb chorizo or smoked sausage
- 4 C. onions
- 1 1/2 C chopped bell peppers
- 1 1/2 C celery
- cayenne to taste
- 14 1/2 can tomatoes
- 4 small cans tomato paste
- 2 T chopped garlic
- 5 C water
- 8 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 3 lbs peeled shrimp
- creole seasoning
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 C sugar
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in pan add sausage and cook 2 min. Add onions, celery, and peppers and cook 6-8 min.
Add other ingredients except for shrimp and cook over medium heat for 20 min.
Add shrimp and cook for additional 20 min.
Serve over rice
