Ingredients
- Basic mix:
- 5 # flour
- 3 T salt
- 1/2 C sugar
- 2 T cream of tartar
- 2 1/2 C dried milk
- 3/4 C double action baking powder
- 2 # vegetable shorting
- Waffles:
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 C water

Preparation
Step 1
Combine all dry ingredients and cut in the shorting. Seal up in an air tight container at room temp until ready for use.
When your ready to prepare waffle, add 3 C of the mix and blend with an egg and 1 1/2 C water and use as with any other commercial mix.
