Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup coca cola
- 1 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons cocoa (1/3 cup)
- 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup coca cola (1/4 cup)
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 (16 oz.) package powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Stir together first 3 ingredients. Set aside. Bring cola, butter and cocoa to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in flour mixture.
Stir in marshmallows and next 3 ingredients. Pour into prepared 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Frosting:
Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil over medium heat, stirring until butter melts, remove from heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla until smooth.
Spread frosting over warm cake; top with pecans.
