Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • 1 pound confectioners' sugar
  • 2 egss, beaten until fluffy

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine the cake mix, nuts, butter, and 1 egg. Press into a 9x13-inch pan. Melt chocolate chips and spread evenly over the bottom layer. With a mixer, beat the cheese, sugar, and 2 eggs until thoroughly mixed. Pour over the chocoloate. Bake 40 to 50 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.
