Ingredients
- 4 large tart red apples, cored and sliced
- 1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) cranberry sauce, whole berry
- 1-1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine all ingredients except th graham cracker crumbs. Mix thoroughly.
Place in 2L casserole dish. Sprinkle with crumbs over fruit mixture. Bake for 30 mins or until golden brown.
Substitute:
Prepare as directed, using 2 cups of firmly packed brown sugar and substituting 1-1/2 cups fresh whole cranberries for cranberry sauce.
