Tomato Aspic

This is a simplerecipe with no extras but celery, olives and shrimp may be added.

Ingredients

• 2 packages of gelatin
• 1/2 cup cold water
• 2 cups V-8 juice
• 2 Tablespoons minced onion
• Juice of 2 lemons (5 tablespoons)
• 2 Tablspoons vinegar
• 1 Teaspoon salt
• 2 Tablesespoons sugar
• Dash of red pepper and allspice for taste

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle gelatinover cold water in a bowl
While gelatin is soaking, heat reso of ingredients with V-9 juice. Simmer 5 minutes. Add gelatin to juice mixture and dissolve thoroughly. Pour into mold and chill.
