Ingredients

  • crust; 1 1/2 cups crushed plain chocolate cookies

    tablespoons butter melted.Mix and press into a 9" pie plate. Chill.

  • 1/4

    cup sugar

  • dash of salt

  • 1/4

    cup butter

  • 2

    tablespoons Brandy

  • 2/3

    cup milk, scalded

    marshmallows (lg.)

    tablesppons amaretto liqueur

    cup whipping cream, whipped

Directions

In top of double boiler, beat egg, place over simmering water, beating constantly, slowly add sugar; continue beating until mixture is thick and creamy, stir in salt. Beat in butter 1 tablespoon at a time,beat until creamy again.Stir in brandy. Cover with plastic wrap and chill. Add marshmallows to scalded milk in double boiler, stirring often until they blend into a smooth mixture. Cool, the add amaretto liquer. After both mixtures are thoroughly cool, combine mixtures well. Add 2-3 drops yellow food coloring. Fold whipped cream into mixture. Pour into crust. Freeze mininum of 6 hour's. Let thaw 15 minutes before cutting and serving. Top with more whipped cream and fresh strawberries if desired.
