Tomato & Mayo Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 slices white bread (maybe toast a bit first?)
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise (preferably Duke's (right: Best Foods)
  • 1 heirloom tomato, sliced
  • Maybe add a slice or two of fresh mozzarella?
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Coarse sea salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Generously coat each slice of bread with 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Evenly layer the tomatoes on 2 slices of bread and season with black pepper and sea salt.

2. Top with the additional bread slices and cut the sandwich in half. Serve immediately.
