Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 ounces chocolate

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt chocolate over low heat in double boiler until just melted. Cool.
2. In large bowl, beat together sugar, butter, vanilla and milk until smooth.
3. If necessary, add more milk until frosting is spreading consistency.
4. Add chocolate to buttercream and stir in.
