Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lbs stewing meat trimmed and cut into small cubes
  • 2-3 garlic cloves minced
  • 5 carrots peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 sweet potato peeled and cubed
  • 2-3 potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2-3 stalks celery chopped
  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 2-3 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • salt and pepper
  • Bay leaf

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients into slow cooker on low and simmer for about 8 hours.
If needed thicken with a little flour
Serve with a buns and a salad
