Ingredients

  • 1 Package Ore-Ida® Steam n’ Mash Cut Russet Potatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Onions
  • 2 Cups Sour Cream
  • 1 Can (10.5 oz.) Condensed Cream Of Celery Soup
  • 2 Cups Shredded Colby and Monterey Jack Cheese Blend
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Cups Crushed Potato Chips

Preparation

Step 1

1..Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Microwave Potatoes on high heat setting for 6 minutes but do not mash.
2..Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Cook Onions for 2 to 3 minutes, or until softened. Pour into large bowl. Add sour cream, soup, cheese, pepper and garlic powder, and mix well. Stir in hot Potatoes. Spoon evenly into bottom of baking dish and top with crushed potato chips.
3..Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with sliced green onion if desired.
