Turkey and Cheddar Burgers

You will be amazed at how tender, juicy and flavorful these turkey burgers are: grated cheddar cheese, zucchini, and minced onion mixed in with the ground turkey help keep it moist.
Don't be tempted to press the burgers with a spatula when cooking. This common mistake actually robs the burgers of moistness by squeezing out the juices.

Ingredients
- 1 # ground skinless turkey breast
- 1 small zucchini, shredded
- 1/2 c. shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. minced re nion
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 c ketchup
- 1/4 c reduced-calorie mayonnaise
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slives
- 4 whole-wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted.
Preparation
Step 1
Heat a nonstick ridged grill pan over medium-low heat.
Combine the turkey, zucchini, cheese, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl until blended. Shape into four patties.
Grill the patties until bronwed on the outside and no longer pink in the center, about 7 minutes on each side.
Meanwhile whisk together the ketchup and mayonnise in a small bowl.
Layer the lettuce, burgers, and tomato slices on the bottoms of the hamburger buns. Top with the ketchup mixture, then the bun tops.
