Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup frozen pease

Preparation

Measure the first 5 ingredients into the medium saucepan, a small saucepan and a mixing spoon.

Measure the first 5 ingredients into the medium saucepan. Put on the lid. Heat on medium high until it starts to boil. Turn the heat down so that it will simmer slowly for 15 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
Put the remaining water and peas into the small saucepan. Cover and heat on medium-high until it starts to boil. Turn down the heat. Simmer gently 3 minutes. Drain. Stir the peas into the rice.
