Hurry Up Chicken Pot Pie (Paula Deen)

Ingredients

  • 2 c chopped cooked chicken breast
  • 2 hard boiled eggs sliced
  • 1/2 c thinly sliced carrots
  • 1/2 c frozen green peas
  • 1 can ( 10 3/4) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • salt pepper
  • 1 1/2 c instant biscuit mix
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 stick butter

Preparation

Step 1

In a greased 2 qt casserole, layer the chicken, eggs, carrots, and peas. Mix the soup, chicken broth, and seasonings. Pour over the layers. stir together the biscuit mix, and milk. and pour this over the top of the casserole. Drizzle butter over the topping. Bake until the topping is golden brown, about 30-40 min
