Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream the butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk and vanilla to creamed mixture.

Bake at 350 degees for 1 hour in well greased and floured tube pan or until tests done with toothpick.
