- 6 Eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup oil
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tabls baking powder
- 3 tbls fennel seeds
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder & add 1 egg
- 1/4 cup amaretto & add 1/4 cup flour
Heat pizzelle iron
In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, & oil. Mix until well combined. Add the flour, baking powder, fennel seeds, & optional ingredients if desired, & mix well to form a homogenous batter. Set aside at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Pour 2 tablespoons of batter onto hot iron. Cook until golden brown about 2 minutes.
