Fresh Peach Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 C. water
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 4 T. cornstarch (or less)
  • dash salt
  • touch yellow food coloring
  • 1/2 sq. butter
  • 1/8 C. lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Mix and cook til thickened and clear, transparent. Slightly cool and pour over peach slices in baked pie shell.
