Ingredients

  • 1/2

    lb butter

  • 2

    cups sugar

  • 4

    eggs

  • 3

    tsp baking powder

  • 2

    tsp baking soda

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • 4

    cups flour

  • 2

    tsp vanilla

  • 1

    pint sour cream

  • everything should be at room temperature**

  • Nut mixture

  • 1/2

    cup sugar

  • 3/4

    cup chopped nuts

  • 2

    tsp cinnamon

Directions

Cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla together. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. When all mixed together fold in the sour cream. In a separate bowl mix 1/2 cup sugar, chopped nuts and cinnamon. In a greased tube pan pour 1/2 the batter in the pan then sprinkle about 1/2 of the nut mixture on top, then pour the remaining batter and sprinkle the remaining nut mixture on the top. Bake for 1hr at 375 degrees
