Whole Wheat Italian Herb Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 TBSP oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 TBSP honey
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano, dried
  • 1/2 tsp basil, dried
  • 1/2 tsp thyme, dried
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix liquid ingredients and half of flour.
Sprinkle in yeast, salt and spices.
Add rest of flour until dough pulls away from sides of bowl
Let rise to develop the flavor of the herbs.
Bake @ 350 for 30-35 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped.
