Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 qt milk
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Cook rice with 1 cup water and 1/2 tsp salt for 14 minutes. Mix cooked rice with remaining ingredients. Pour into casserole dish and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Leave in oven until cool.
