Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken or 4 chicken breasts
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 carrots
- 1 small onion
- Dash of salt
- 1 heaping tsp chicken base
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 (8 ounce) jar Cheez Whiz
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Place chicken and 4 quarts of water in stockpot. Add celery, carrots, onion, a dash of salt and chicken base.
Bring to boil and cook until chicken is tender (about 45 minutes). Remove chicken from pot; skin (if needed), debone and dice.
Bring chicken stock to boil, add spaghetti and cook according to package. Drain well.
In microwave safe bowl, combine soups, Cheez Whiz, chicken broth and milk. Mix together and heat on high for 3 minutes in microwave. Cheez Whiz should be completely melted. Stir well.
Add cooked and diced chicken meat and cooked spaghetti to mixture and mix well.
Grease 13x9-inch pan. Pour mixture into pan and top with grated cheddar cheese.
Bake at 250 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until set.
