Quiche

Ingredients

  • Pie crust (put in pie plate & bake for approx. 5 min)
  • 1/2 c onion chopped fine
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 2 cups cream (half-n-half)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 - 2 T melted butter
  • pepper
  • 8 slices bacon - 2 crumbled on bottom & 2 on top
  • Can use ham instead of bacon.
  • Also can use asparagus, spinich, broccoli, crab - whatever!!

Preparation

Step 1

Combine eggs, cream & cheese with salt & pepper.
put bacon on bottom of each pastry. Divide liquid between the two - then top with bacon
Bake at 375* for 30 min - let cool 5 min.
