**Joann version - substitute 1 can of diced potatoes for the 4-5...

Ingredients

  • 2-3 # ground chuck
  • 4-5 potatoes pared, cubed and cooked (save water)
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder & chili powder to taste
  • 2 small cans Hunts tomato paste
  • 1 small can Hunts tomato sauce
  • 1 can kidney or chili beans (do not drain)

Preparation

Step 1

Season ground chuck with salt, pepper, chili powder and garlic powder while frying. Drain. Stir in tomato paste, tomato sauce and beans. Add potatoes & some of the potato water until desired consistency. let simmer about an hour.
