Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 14 T butter, melted
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 2 c flour
  • Caramel topping:
  • 2 c pecans
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 3/4 c heavy cream
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/2 c corn syrup
  • 1/4 t salt
  • Ganache:
  • 2 oz bittersweet chocolate
  • 6 T heavy cream

Step 1

Line baking pan with foil and grease the sides. Stir butter, brown sugar, and salt. Stir in flour. Press into the bottom of the pan. Prick with a fork. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Bake the dough for 20 minutes at 325.

Sprinkle pecans over the crust. Boil brown sugar, cream, butter, corn syrup and salt over med-high heat until reaches 240 degrees. Pour caramel evenly over crust. Cool 2 hours.

Bring heavy cream to a boil. Pour over chocolate. Let sit 3 minutes. Gently stir. Drizzle over bars. Cool 30 minutes.
