Ingredients
- 2 tsp cooking oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 12 oz. canned tomatoes with juice, broken up
- 14 oz. canned beans in tomato sauce
- 14 oz. canned kidney beans with liquid
- 1-3 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in dutch oven. Add onion and ground beef. Scramble-fry until onion is soft and no pink remains in beef. drain.
Add remaining 8 ingredients. Heat, stirring often until mixture comes to a gentle boil. Boil slowly, uncovered, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens. Taste to see if you wish to add more chili powder.
