Ingredients
- 1 c butter, softened
- 2/3 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 t vanilla
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 1/4 cups flour
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 400.
2. Combine all ingredients except flour in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add flour; beat at low speed until well mixed.
**If dough is too soft, cover and refrigerate, 30-45 minutes.
3. Place dough into cookie press fitted with template. Form desired shapes, 1 inch apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
