Nutty Butterscotch Chocolate Bars

Ingredients

• 1 c butter
• 2 1/2 c flour
• 3/4 t baking soda
• 1/2 t salt
• 1 3/4 c brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 t vanilla
• 1 1/4 c semisweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 c coconut flakes
• 1 c pecans or walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly grease baking pan. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Combine butter and brown sugar beating until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture. Pour in chocolate chips and coconut. Scrape dough into pan. Scatter nuts evenly over the top. Bake 40 minutes at 325.
