Ingredients

  • 1/2

    cup butter

  • 1

    cup flour

  • 3/4

    cup sugar

  • 2

    tsp baking powder

  • 3/4

    cup milk

  • 3-4

    cups any fruit (apples, berries, bananas, peaches, rhubarb with sugar: fresh, frozen or canned)

Directions

Place butter in 9x9 inch pan. Melt in warm oven. Sift flour, sugar and baking powder together. Add milk. Blend until smooth. Pour into pan over butter. Spread or pour n fruit. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until browned and crisp. Serve plain or with ice cream or half and half.
