  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3-4 cups any fruit (apples, berries, bananas, peaches, rhubarb with sugar: fresh, frozen or canned)

Cooking time 60mins


Step 1

Place butter in 9x9 inch pan.
Melt in warm oven.
Sift flour, sugar and baking powder together.
Add milk.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into pan over butter.
Spread or pour n fruit.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until browned and crisp.
Serve plain or with ice cream or half and half.
