SANGRIA

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 medium orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1 bottle red wine, chilled
  • 1/2 tray ice cubes

Preparation

Step 1

In medium saucepan combine sugar and water, bring to boiling and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat, add orange, lemon and lime slices. Cover and let stand at least 4 hours or overnight.

In large pitcher, combine sugar syrup and fruit slices with brandy and wine. Just before serving add ice cubes.
