Tate's Bake Shop Peanut Butter Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbs. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. salted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 9x5x3 inch loaf pan and set it aside.

In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Cream butter and sugars till they are combined. Add peanut butter and mix it in. Add egg and vanilla. Scrape down sides of bowl and mix again. Add flour mixture. Blend until combined. Mixture will be dry. Slowly pour in milk and mix well.

Spoon batter into prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 50 minutes or until center springs back when pressed with fingertip.

Cool loaf for 10 minutes in pan and remove bread from pan to cooling rack to cool completely.
