Strawberry Banana Split Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1 prepared chocolate flavor crumb crust (6 ounces)
  • 3/4 cup cold milk or half and half
  • 3/4 cup pureed strawberries
  • Red food coloring
  • 1 package (4 serving size) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
  • Sliced bananas and strawberries
  • Chocolate dessert topping
  • Additional thawed whipped topping
  • 1 maraschino cherry

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange banana slices in bottom of crust.

Pour milk, strawberry puree and food coloring into large bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 1 to 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spoon into crust.

Freeze 6 hours or overnight until firm. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes or until pie can be cut easily.

Garnish with sliced bananas and strawberries. Drizzle with dessert topping. Top with dollop of additional whipped topping and cherry. Store leftover pie in freezer.
