Ingredients
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups water or chicken stock
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. finely minced onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 small pink Saffron, crumbled

Preparation
Step 1
Place butter and onion in heavy quart saucepan. Saute over medium heat until onion is translucent. Add rice, saffron, stock and salt. Bring to rolling boil. Cover. Reduce heat to simmer, cook until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed (about 15 minutes).
