Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Swiss cheese, diced fine
  • 1/2 c. kirch
  • 3 T. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic, split
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. dry white wine
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle flour on cheese. Split garlic clove and rub inside of fondue pot. Pour wine into fondue pot and heat until it bubbles. Do not boil. Add cheese until it is melted Add kirch. salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Serve with loaf of French bread, cut in bite-size squares
