Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients

• 3 1/2 C Flour
• 2 Tsp. Baking Soda
• 1 Tsp. Salt
• 1 Cup Sugar
• 1 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
• 1 Cup Shortening or Butter
• 1 Cup Peanut Butter
• 2 Ea. Eggs
• 4 Tbs. Milk
• 2 Tsp. Vanilla
• 96 Ea. Chocolate Candy Kisses

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove wrappers from chocolates.

2. Combine all ingredients except candy in a large bowl. Mix on lowest speed of mixer until dough forms. Shape dough into balls using a rounded teaspoon full for each. Roll the balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Top each cookie immediately with a candy kiss. Press down firmly so that the cookie starts to crack around the edges. Great At Christmas Time!
