Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 egg

Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine first 3 ingredients; blend at low speed until crumbly. Press 2 cups of the crumb mixture into ungreased 9-inch square pan. To remaining crumb mixture, add 1/2 cup nuts, soda, nutmeg, sour cream, and egg; blend well. Pour batter over crumb mixture. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
