Ingredients
- 16 cups of Strawberries (should measure out to 5 cups crushed)
- 7 cups sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Crush 1 cup of berries at a time using a potato masher
Measure exact amount of prepared fruit into 6-8 quart saucepot (use silver pot)
Measure exact amount of sugar in seperate bowl.
Stir in 1 box of pectin into saucepot. Add 1/2 teaspoon of butter to reduce foamng if desired.
Bring mixture to full rolling boil stirring constantly.
Stir in sugar quickly. Return to full rolling boil and boil exactly 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat and skim off foam.
Ladle quickly into prepared jars filling to within 1/8 inch of tops. Wipe jars and rim.
Process jars 10 minutes.
