Paneer Pakoda

Ingredients

  • 250 gms paneer
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp mango powder
  • 1/4 tsp cooking soda
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1-2 chopped green chilies
  • Oil to fry
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix gram flour, oil, red chili powder, chopped green chilies, salt,
cooking soda, water, mix well & make a thick batter.

2. Cut paneer into thick cubes.

3. Sprinkle little salt, red chili powder & mango powder on the cubes.

4. Dip each piece of paneer in this batter.

5. Heat oil in a frying pan.

6. Now put pieces of paneer in heated oil.

7. Fry them till they become golden brown.

8. Paneer pakodas are ready.

9. Serve paneer pakodas with green chutney.
