Ingredients
- 1 Can Sliced Pineapple (10 slices)
- 3 Tbls Vegetable Oil
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 3 Large Eggs
- 12 Tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 3 Tbls Butter
- 10 ea Marchino Sherries

Step 1
Cook butter & brown sugar in a sauce pan until it becomes a syrup. Pour into a geased 9' cake pan.
Place pineapple slices around pan with 1 in center. Now place a cherry in the center of each pineapple slice.
CAKE BATTER:
Cream oil & sugar together. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
Add dry ingredients & milk to egg batter and mix well.
Pour batter over pineapple slices and cherries in cake pan.
Bake at 350o F for 45 - 50 minutes or until done.
Invert pan onto a plate to cool.
