Ingredients

• 1 cake mix any flavor
• any frosting you like
• 1 C finely chopped berry of choice (drain any excess juice chopping creates)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cake according to the package directions and fold in your chopped berries. Instead of baking it as directed spoon or pipe the batter into the doughnut maker. Bake as with any other doughnut batter and cool on a wire rack before frosting.

Prepare your chosen frosting as you usually would only cut your recipe amount by at lest half. Then frost the cooled doughnut tops.
