Ingredients
- 2 Cups Sugar + 1/2 Cup for topping
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa
- 2 Tbsp Self-Rising Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Can Evaporated Milk
- 4 Egg Yolks (save the whites for topping)
- 2 Cooked Pie Shells
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425°. In a large pot, mix all dry ingredients together. Add liquids and cook slowly until boiling, stirring all the time. When thick, pour into pie shells. Beat the 4 egg whites and 1/2 cup of sugar until fluffy. Spread on top of pie. Bake until light brown on top.
