Sour Cream Banana Bread
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup bananas, mashed (1 or 2 bananas)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup walnuts
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Mix into creamed mixture, blending well.
Finally, add bananas, sour cream and nuts. Mix well.
Spoon into greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour. Make sure center of bread is done by testing with a toothpick. Cool completely.
